We have the time so we decided to spend a week down at the
coast while Richard shoots the Natal Open 9-10April.

This time we decided to stay in Amanzimtoti and then just drive up to Umkomaas each day. It is a twenty minute drive along the ocean which is just beautiful.

We had a penthouse overlooking the ocean all to ourselves. Did not hear another soul. Did not watch TV. When someone commented that the Guptas had fled South Africa, I really couldn't give a damn. I have come to the conclusion that the more bad news and bad TV we watch the more it eats into our
daily lives.

Natal does not have good shooting conditions so as the first squad stepped up they all dropped their first birds. Actually it was quite funny to watch.They didn't think so but we must say the morning light was a bit deceiving.

The shoot was lovely though. I am organized with my chair and brolly now and just thoroughly enjoy it all.
