Folkstone – 10 May

Dover Castle
Dover Cliffs
Tuesday morning and we have no rushing to do.
Everything we want to see is in a 10-mile radius.
Bacon, eggs and fried tomato with a good coffee after a shower and we amble out of the park.
Dover Castle is just another castle and no worth all the walking and climbing up to the centre parts f the castle.
Little Switzerland
We had a look at the Dover docks where all the trucks cross the Channel on
the ferry and the traffic is horrendous but we had to pass there to get to St Margrets where we could see
the White Cliffs from.
Dover Cliffs
At St Margrets we could walk right to the edge of the White Cliffs and look across to where the main part is. Just beautiful.
We then decided that we would overnight in Folkestone which is actually just 5 miles from where we stayed last night.

We are overnighting at “Little Switzerland” where our camper is situated half way up some white cliffs and we are surrounded by lush forest, we look out on the ocean over some shrubs
