I was so proud of myself doing our entire trip on line, no travel agent and all in all saved just on R 10,000 on the trip.

The Bicycles Everywhere - Love It

Come Tuesday lunch time and we receive an email - Your flight has been cancelled - of all the airlines I had to book on Air France and they went on strike this week.

Panic stations but soon we were on a direct flight to Amsterdam
arriving twenty minutes later.

Our flight left at 11.15 last night and it is one very, very long flight arriving 10.20 this morning.

First Dutch Beer In Haarlem

Got connected so that we have GPS, collected our car and
one of the places I have always wanted to visit is Haarlem.

We found a very quaint place "Villa Zomerdijk" on the Internet with a host that will cook something special for us tonight.

Just going to park off after this long flight, enjoy the local beers and a few glasses of wine and then decide what to do tomorrow.
